Sacer IRAK R.I.P
I know it's late and most people will have read alot about Sace passing away afew weeks ago but i felt i had to post something about him.
I was reading this last night and it reminded me of an article in The Face i caught when i was around 16. They followed Sace and Earsnot around New York for a week, living the same life as them and i'd never read anything like it. The hedonism they live just seemed amazing, something totally detatched from anything i could imagine growing up in the suburbs of London.
Obviously Sacer will go down as one of the most infamous graffiti writers ever but i decided not to post any of his pieces or bombing. He took great photo's like the one above on the beach, did some crazy installation work and some really nice paintings. It's nice to see that even someone who dedicated thier life to partying, street warfare and robbery had a decent creative output in other mediums.
So raise a glass to Sace and toast his legacy.
Read the article too, it's very funny!
